The May Day march and rally was held again this year in the Brewhouse Yard, next to Nottingham Castle. The theme was the rights of refugees and the developing public sector pay campaign across the unions. There was good food, speakers and live music. A short march took those assembled into the Market Square, led by a lively drum band which can be seen and heard on the short video below. Central Notts and South Notts NUT represented the most visible union presence on the day with both banners prominently displayed on the march. Check out the slide show and video below.
