The NUT in Notts provides a number of opportunities for young teachers to get involved in the Union and understand more about their rights as a teacher and employee. On the lighter side we also aim to get to know the new teachers coming into Nottinghamshire at the start of each academic year. This year, for the second time, we organised a free meal for all teachers under 35 at the ‘4550 Miles from Delhi’ restaurant. Over 50 teachers attended on October 1st and a great time was had by all as can be seen in the pictures opposite.
